at midnight we will burn is took place at the Baltic Sea from 12pm to 12am. The festival goers wrote down a memory, trauma, or an event from which they want to be freed from and healed from. I took the texts, placed into sealed envelopes, into a wooden rowboat at the sea. At midnight all the letters and the boat were set on fire. The performance created possibilities for connection, reflection and healing through shared trust and stories.
